Pete Wicklund from The Racine Journal Times butchered my interview.

It appears to me that Journal Times went out of their way to butcher the section that was about me. They left out many factual statements while going out of their way to generate negative press. For example, they failed to mention that the Dover's Highway Department trucks have not been serviced for at least 7 years. This lack of maintenance started after Walter Goetz, our Professional Teamster Truck Driver, retired. This lack of maintenance has proven to cost the town more in the long run. The trucks have experienced drive shaft problems. Two Allison Transmissions have also been replaced within two years! I bet from reading this article you were not clued in that I was willing to use a portion of my own chairman salary in order to maintain the trucks if the town was not going to allocate the funds. The times also forgot to mention the real reason why I was turned down for the highway department. They basically wrote this article like it was supposed to be some sort of drama. This is what happens when the media is more interested in ratings.

The times has me looking like a negative person, but I was just pointing the problems that I am going to solve.

I want be loyal to our great community, and if you ask me, that is very positive!

On a humorous but serious note:  When elected, I will prove that I am not illiterate.

Mike Moore on the other hand is a journalist, that as you can see, is very capable of providing a fair interview.
